This year we will definitely see the increased use of mobile phones for social good. With more social applications being available on the Web and with Nokia and Betavine running competitions for social applications it is a good indication that 2010 will see more innovative use of mobile phones in developing communities.

- Healthcare
- Education
- Micro Enterprise
- Social Services
- Rural Development
The growing mobile industry will ensure that more people in developing communities would have access to services that before seemed unlikely or not accessible.
